Help! Unknown Substance Found In My Baby Chinchilla Cage! Look like Chocolate..

Hi all, i've found this unknown substance in my 3months old baby chinchilla's cage, larger than normal poo..
I took 2 picture of it.. can anyone tell me what is this?
I look thru the net, most people say chinchilla cannot vomit..

So, is this diarhhoea or what?

He is shitting normal now.. Dont look sick, he run normally..

Do i have to do anything??

Looks to me like the chin got hold of something it shouldn't have. Just keep an eye on him and if you're worried take him to the vet.

me being me , i would have took it apart to try and work out what it was .
but like diane said your little fella may have got his hands on something he souldnt and just keep an eye on him .

Have you figured out what it was yet? Because I just took something that looked identical to that out of my chins cage. Parts of it weren't completely mushed though so it was fairly easy to identify as food pellets soaked in liquid, either water or urine.

Does your chin have one of those chinnie hanging treats in the cage? Could be a piece which has been wee'd on
