What is a subscription? A Subscription enables you to post adverts in the particular forums to which you are subscribed too. It also gives you access to the ChinchillaWorld Pedigree Maker which lets you create professional looking pedigrees for all your Chinchillas. |

Why are you charging? ChinchillaWorld has always been a free source of information helping to improve the life of Chinchillas and we will always remain free for the sharing of information however we have noticed an increase in the number of people who join solely to put advertisements and not contribute towards the forum. Any money from subscriptions will go towards the upkeep of the forums and the future purchase of additional software required. |

Do I have to pay to view any topics? Viewing of all topics is free and will remain free. You have to sign up to the forums to view the member only chatter topics but this is still free. |

Is there still a free membership? There is and always will be a free membership to the forums allowing you to ask and answer questions. You are able to reply to advertisements without having to have a subscription. You are however unable to access the ChinchillaWorld Pedigree Maker. |

What is the difference between a public and trade subscriber? A public subscriber is allowed to post 1-2 chinchillas for sale per month for the life of the subscription. A trade subscriber can post an unlimited number of chinchillas for sale for the life of the subscription. |

How do I become a rescue subscriber? The rescue group is free to join to post rescues for rehoming. This group is restricted and you need to fill out a form which is emailed to the admin team who will then review your application and will let you know the outcome within 7-10 working days (normally sooner). If you are declined access to this group you will be unable to resubmit your application for 6 months and those that are resubmitted will be automatically refused. |

Do I still have to pay to post items which will be free? Any member can post free adverts. We feel that as you are not making any money then why should you have to pay any out to put up an advertisement. |

Are the fee's only for people that are selling or as a breeder would I need to pay to post in non sales forums? The fee's are for anyone wishing to place an advert on the forums. All posts in the non sales forums are free and will remain free. |

What is the meaning of life? A "life" subscription refers to the life of the forums and not the life of the subscriber. ChinchillaWorld has been running since August 2001 and the forums have been running since January 2004 so we have a long history and hope to have an even longer future. |

If you don't advertise in the sales areas and you're just here for info (giving and receiving) do you have to subscribe? If not, will you still be able to see other people's posts in those forums (so you can buy if you want)? You do not have to subscribe to see any posts nor to reply to any posts. The subscription is just for the posting of adverts in the sales sections but not the replying of. |

Do you have to pay to post in the wanted section? The wanted section is free as we feel you shouldn't have to pay to ask for something you want. |
